Luca is practically a walking Rome encyclopaedia. He has so much knowledge to share at every step of our way with him for the past 3 days. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for someone who speaks English and mandarin at the same time. Luca is a fluent Mandarin-speaker and incredibly knowledgeable tour guide. He provided an unbelievably unique and fulfilling experience for my parents, whose Mandarin is better than their English. They never would've been able to learn so much and understand so much about where we toured without Luca. He was amazingly friendly, accommodating, and flexible.
We had a great time and experience at the Vatican museum. Luca spoke English and Chinese which helped as my parents didn’t understand English very well. Luca was so helpful and was very knowledgeable about the history and museum artifacts. He also was able to keep the children interested by engaging them during his explanation. Luca has an amazing knowledge of history, religion, art and architecture and brings incredible analytical capacity to his tours, showing us what is behind and range of messages contained. His recent tour of the Four rivers fountain by Bernini and the Pantheon was fascinating - showing us what we would not otherwise see.
We had a lovely two days with Luca. He is a wonderful guide with lots of charisma and a wealth of information about Roman/Italian history and culture. He also speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese, which made a world of difference for my parents experience during our time in Rome. Every restaurant he recommended was also amazing!
